Masiakasaurus

This is a life-sized model of the head of a small dinosaur which lived 80 million years ago in what is now Madagascar, made for a Bruce Museum exhibit about this unique island.  The strange curved jaws with protruding teeth are the striking feature of this animal.  The feathers (which are real robin, dove, and woodpecker feathers) are suggested by evidence for them found in closely related species.
