Bear Diorama

In 2017 I was involved in a major renovation of the mammal hall dioramas at the State Museum Of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA.  The foregrounds and taxidermy were cleaned and restored, and I was set the task of breathing fresh life into the background paintings.  The Bear diorama was one of the most challenging, but also rewarding of the backgrounds I re-touched, as the dramatic lighting and mood were important to preserve, while making the overall effect more realistic.
