Sound Islands

This is a motif I paint often.  The scattering of small wooded islands and the distant blue line of the Long island shore is an ever-present feature of the coast where I live.  The atmospheric effects of clouds, light and haze make such views an ever-changing and unique challenge, despite it's seeming simplicity.
